So here is a delicious plate that my Aunt Frehiwot(Fruta) and her mom Elsa who we call Enatye made for me a year ago. When I visited them in DC last October they had all of my favorites ready because they love to feed me lol.

  1. Misir Wot(Red Lintils) they can be spicy made with berbere sauce, mine were not :)

  2. Shiro(Ground Split Peas) simmered with garlic, ginger and herbs

  3. Veggie Rice & Dabo (Bread)

  4. Gomen- (Steamed Collard Greens) with garlic, ginger and onions

  5. Yatalkilt Alicha(Cabbage, and carrots and tumeric)

  6. Injera(Ethiopian Flatbread) Served with most if not all dishes

PS: For Dessert we had some Baklava :)
